If you have the following skills and have a commitment to this area of work, you may be interested in working for us from time to time on a freelance basis.
Please send your CV including the names and contact details of two references and a copy of any police checks. Please give details of subjects you prefer to deliver, and let us know how far you are willing to travel. Reasonable travel expenses can be accommodated.
Freelance tutors receive work contracts, course plans, delegate handout packs, presentation slides and evaluation forms and administrative support.

Criteria for application

• Degree or equivalent early year's qualification

• Teaching/training qualification i.e.
  Cert.Ed. (Post 16)

• A strong understanding of child development as well as the major issues and current developments in the education of 0-5 year olds, including the foundation stage curriculum and 0-3 matters.

• Experience and confidence in working with young children, parents and carers and/or students, and in promoting quality and best practice for young children

• Highly developed interpersonal skills

• Presentational skills

• Intrinsic motivation and an ability to work independently and flexibly.

• Early years training is an expanding area with some new exciting developments
